Frozen Mojito


Ahhhh, summer in Nova Scotia. It can’t be beat really. But it can be improved with a few of these amazingly delicious treats.

Typically I prefer a more traditional drink but these are so easy when you have company and people love them.


  • 1 can of frozen lime minute maid margarita mix from frozen juice section
  • 6 shots(oz) light rum
  • 2 shots(oz) dark rum
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 18-20 ice cubes plus enough water to blend
  • a few drops of Angostura bitters to float on top if desired


In a blender, combine all ingredients. Pulse, then blend on high until lime-mint slush is smooth. Pour and enjoy!
